He founded one of the largest, legislatively funded, psychiatric emergency response team programs in the United States. He co-developed the first (and only), crisis intervention/verbal de-escalation certification available from a professional mental health association.
His training programs and consultation services have been leveraged by Federal, State, and Regional Law Enforcement Agencies, Care and Services systems, Corrections systems, Behavioral Health Agencies, and Youth and Family service organizations.
His company, JUMPSTART Mastery, provides training and consulting to public safety systems, behavioral health systems, and large corporations featuring workplace violence prevention and threat assessment divisions.
Andy collaborates with Tony Blauer in bringing Tony's SPEAR CARE to healthcare, youth and family services, and behavioral health systems to reduce injury and trauma to the workforce and improve recovery and resilience within people served, in a rapidly changing world.
